Gary Anthony Frith was born in Kingston, Jamaica on July 30th, 1963. He grew up in a loving family in Mandeville, Manchester where he farmed and enjoyed working with his hands. He moved to Miami, Fl at the age of 16. Gary trained as a chef at Robert Morgan Technical College and due to his talent, he worked at many restaurants including Bloomingdale’s and Snappers. Gary always had an entrepreneurial spirit which led to him opening his own restaurant, Peppers, and later a lounge called the Bamboo Joint where people could gather to celebrate birthdays and life moments. A lover of trees and plants, he founded and ran Gary’s Landscaping & Maintenance and Frith Landscaping and Home Renovation Corp. for over 35 years. He married his wife Paulette in 1983 and together they raised three children. He leaves behind Paulette, mother Barbara Moodie, brothers Audley Headley, Tyrone Headley, David Headley, sister Marvlette Frith, and his children. Gary was charismatic, loving and had a kind heart. He always wanted to learn more and would engage in hours long conversations with complete strangers about anything from politics to business. He was a happy person who adored his family, and made friends everywhere he went and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Gary was deeply loved and he will be truly missed.
