Gary Lewis Cooper was born on November 4, 1956 in Miami, Florida, to Doris and Gerald Cooper. Gary was raised in the Florida City community, and graduated from Miami Killian Senior High School in 1975. Gary was employed with Miami Dade Water and Sewer, where he was a dedicated employee, and retired after 43 years of service. Gary was a resident of the Perrine community for 23 years, he would later relocate to Cordele, Georgia to make his home. On August 1, 2025, while resting in the comforts of his home, Gary transitioned from this Earthly realm to Life Eternal. Gary truly loved his family, and he was sincerely loved in return by his family who will miss him dearly. Precious memories will forever live in the hearts of his wife: Andrea; children: Lil Gary Cooper, Gerald Cooper, Gerard Cooper, Denzel Cooper, Trevor Mobley, Herbert Jackson, and Andrea Stanley (Donnell); parents: Doris and Gerald Cooper; siblings: Perry Cooper, Michael Cooper, Beverly Cooper Robinson, and Melvin Cooper; grandchildren: Kerard Cooper, Kyrie Cooper, Denzel Cooper Jr., De'Kari Cooper, Star Brockington, Da'Jana Mobley, Trevor Mobley, Justin Mobley, Trevon Mobley, Tristan Mobley, Tristina Mobley, Jayden Holly, and Amia Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
