In Loving Memory of Cuthbert Lew Nicholas
Also known as Star Dragon Lee
Sunrise: June 23, 1973 | Sunset: June 7, 2025
Cuthbert Lew Nicholas, lovingly known as Star Dragon Lee, was the beloved son of Eunice Martin and the late Steve Mustafa, born on the island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. A vibrant spirit from the start, Lee spent his early years immersed in the joys of island life; riding horses, swimming at the beach, playing board games, telling jokes, and basking in the love of family.
In school, Lee’s musical gifts quickly became evident. He rose to become a talented drummer and drum captain, inspiring many around him to explore their own creativity. A lover of Kung Fu films and a master in the kitchen, his “Iron Chef” skills were as memorable as his sense of humor. His vivid imagination carried him through life’s ups and downs, helping him remain hopeful and grounded.
To know Lee was to feel seen, valued, and uplifted. He had a special way of building personal bonds with every child who crossed his path and left lasting impressions on everyone he met. His presence lit up every room, and his smile radiated warmth, humor, and positive vibes.
He is survived by his beloved children: Zaria Nicholas, Angel Jackson, Isaiah Jackson, Zahmyr Hall-Nicholas, and Zynzii Nicholas. He also leaves behind his devoted siblings: Cuthteler Brann, Arica Baltimore, Osiris, Ozias, Iman, Wolsley “Junior” Martin,Shadia Mustafa John, Ali, Halla, Hanan, Shada
Eyad(Deceased), Sarry Mustafa & 4 other brothers . Lee’s legacy continues through his eight nephews and thirteen nieces: Blaze and Makeda Brann-Nicholas, Amaya Arevalo-Burkes, Zahlani Martin, and Isaiah Wright-Martin. He is also lovingly remembered by a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who cherished and stood by him throughout his life. They gave him their hearts, and he gave his in return; selfless, loyal, and full of soul.
